Global Village
Welcome to the Global Village at the Swiss Biotech Day 2023.
The Global Village platform is a dedicated offering for national and regional foreign biotech clusters which intend to develop and strengthen long-term and sustainable business ties and collaborations with various stakeholders of the Swiss biotech ecosystem. It is an integral part of the Swiss Biotech Day as the anchor event for the Global Village platform. International delegations who participate in the Global Village platform benefit from several tailormade opportunities in addition to the classical offerings of the Swiss Biotech Day: they present themselves through dedicated delegation booths in the Global Village area of the Swiss Biotech Day, they participate in a small roundtable discussion tailormade for each delegation and they will be part of the international reception for foreign delegations. In addition, delegations may participate in dedicated site visits of selected biotech hotspots in Switzerland directly after the Swiss Biotech Day. Delegations include a cross-section of their respective biotech hub including C-level entrepreneurs, venture builders and investors, researchers and academics, leading hospital representatives, clinical investigators and CROs, government bodies and economic development agencies to representatives of incubators and accelerators. The Global Village Platform is jointly presented by the Swiss Biotech Association and Switzerland Global Enterprise. |
