Industry Liaison Office, National Taiwan University
ILO is dedicated to facilitating collaborations between NTU and industry partners. As a bridge between academia and industry, it helps to promote technology transfer and joint research, commercialization of intellectual property, and other forms of industry-academia cooperation. ILO works closely with the industries to identify their needs. Through its efforts, ILO plays an important role in promoting economic growth and social progress while advancing NTU’s research mission.

Center for Biotechnology, National Taiwan University
Center for Biotechnology in National Taiwan University is established in 1999 responsible for integrating the teaching and research related to biotechnology, to provide technical services, courses, cultivation and practical training of biotechnology in NTU, and to actively promote and assist biotechnology research and development. The strategy adopted is to integrate teaching to support research, deepen the theory to achieve application, and move toward a local to Global.

Biomedical Translation Research Center (BioTReC), Academia Sinica
BioTReC was founded in Sep. 2019 as a part of the National Biotechnology Research Park. The objectives of BioTReC align with government initiatives to accelerate bio-entrepreneurship from early discovery stages to commercialization. The establishment of BioTReC helps to forge a professional and innovative ecosystem that facilitates new drug discovery, as creation of a thriving biotechnology industry will ultimately enhance human health and welfare.

Development Center for Biotechnology (DCB)
DCB was founded in 1984 as a nonprofit research center by Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs. Presently based in the National Biotechnology Research Park, DCB focuses on research and development of preclinical development and translational medicine research of novel drugs and treatments, as well as drug commercialization and business development, to advance Taiwan’s biotechnology industry.

Taiwan Bio Industry Organization
Since 1989, the Taiwan Bio Industry Organization (Taiwan BIO) has been promoting the interests of its members from industry, the government and academia as well as their contribution to Taiwan’s economy and people. The membership represents the entire life sciences industry spectrum. Taiwan BIO’s key responsibilities is organizing the annual BIO Asia–Taiwan international conference and exhibition, an annual week-long festival of biotech-themed events held in Taipei.
